The WaTER Center will host the 2017 OU International WaTER
Conference in Norman, Oklahoma with the theme A Decade of Progress – A Vision
for the Future. We are particularly
excited about the conference this year because, as our theme suggests, it will
be a celebration of our 10th anniversary of the biennial WaTER Conference/Water Prize cycles.
Making this celebration of water all the more exciting is the fact that the past prize winners will return to honor the current prize winner, all presenting during the conference and participating in a panel discussion.

The conference provides opportunities for attendees to join
in this celebration by offering special activities, such as an Ethiopian coffee
ceremony, increased workshop sessions, and the new Student Poster Competition.
Collaborative gatherings and informative panel discussions will be provided,
creating the chance to share experiences and discuss future WaSH challenges and
solutions.
